Money Wheel, Big Wheel, Big Six or Chocolate Wheel.
Objective:
Try to predict which segment the top marker will stop at.
Summary:
The money wheel is divided into a number of equal segments separated by spokes or pins. Each segment is associated with a number. The wheel is spun by a dealer, and the winning segment is indicated by a pointer, a flexible piece of leather, which also rubs against the pins to impart friction and slow the wheel down.
Place your bets in the betting areas. The dealer will call “no more bets” and then spin the wheel. The wheel must go around at least 3 times to be a legal spin. Once the wheel stops and the clacker has clearly fallen into a section, that section is the winner. All bets placed on the layout that are not in the winning section are cleared and the winning bets are paid at the odds of the winning segment.
The odds are:1-1, 3-1, 5-1, 11-1, 23-1 and 47-1.
The Joker and Diamond are separate bets and only one is paid at a time. If the marker stops between two numbers it is a no-spin (liner) and the wheel is re spun.
Hint:
This game is one of the easiest to play, but does not actually have really good odds.
The money wheel is where all the noise and cheering often comes from. As that clacker approaches your number you tense up with anticipation as you yell “slow down”, “stop”, “stop” and then scream with excitement when your number comes up. And that’s the blokes, you should see the girls play this game, theyr’e even louder.
It’s games like this that create that real casino atmosphere that everyone talks about after the event. So we will see you on the table at least once through the night no doubt, then you will be hooked.
